Overview
There are trips after which you have photos.
And there are those after which you have silence within. This is a day dedicated to sacred places.
A day without rush, without fuss, without "check boxes."
We will climb to monasteries hidden in the mountains.
The very ones that survived wars, fires, and centuries.
That stood then — and stand now.
We will visit 4–5 ancient monasteries:
— "Joy of All Who Sorrow"
— Panagia Sumela (with a miraculous icon painted by the Apostle Luke)
— Monastery of Saint George
— Monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos
— Monastery of the Holy Cross
— Monastery of Saints Constantine and Helen
In each place, you will be able to pray peacefully.
Approach the shrine.
Be alone with your request or gratitude.
These monasteries are not touristic.
They are alive.
With monks, with prayer, with that depth that cannot be explained in words.
Yes, the day will be eventful.
But the journeys are short, and the stops are frequent.
And the higher we climb into the mountains, the quieter it becomes within.
This is not a tour for impressions.
This is a journey for an encounter.
