Overview
This is a mountain the ancient Greeks spoke of with reverence.
A mountain where heroes were raised.
A mountain where legends were born.
A mountain from whose wood a ship was built — one that changed the course of history.
But I’ll tell you more about that when we are there.
Today, Pelion is a cascade of stone villages hidden in greenery.
Narrow streets, ancient plane trees, coffee with views of the sea and mountains.
A road where every turn looks like a postcard.
We will visit several authentic villages, walk around, and stop wherever we feel like staying a little longer.
If you choose an overnight stay, we can also take the famous mountain train with the narrowest railway in the world (40 cm).
The route passes through forests and across old stone bridges. It’s a short journey, but incredibly atmospheric.
We will also visit Volos — the city from which one of the most famous sea journeys of antiquity once began.
This trip is for those who love:

nature without crowds

authentic villages

stories worth listening to

roads worth remembering
✔️ This trip can be combined with Meteora (in a two-day program or night liturgy)
and with the island of Skiathos.
The route is customized individually — it can be more nature-focused, more seaside-oriented with a workshop, or more relaxed.
Pelion is not a loud destination.
It is real, living Greece.
Pelion does not shout about itself.
It reveals itself slowly.
And that is exactly what makes it special.
